Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation hosts Vic DiGenti’s “Novel Writing 101” Workshop





The Vero Beach based Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation welcomes award-winning novelist and biographer Vic DiGenti for a special fiction workshop titled Novel Writing 101. The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, February 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 1914 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960.

Novel Writing 101 is a fast-paced, entertaining and interactive session covering many of the necessary techniques needed for completing a novel. The workshop includes both group and individual exercises designed to give writers the confidence to write their own novels. Among the areas covered are plot, dialogue, character development, beginnings, middles and endings.

The registration fee is only $45 and interested writers may register online on the Foundation’s website.

Vic DiGenti is the author of six novels, a short story collection, and three biographies. Using the pen name Parker Francis he’s written three Quint Mitchell Mysteries, including the Royal Palm Literary Awards Book of the Year mystery, Matanzas Bay. He is Executive Vice President for the Florida Writers Association, and Faculty Chair of the 2018 Florida Writers Conference.

The mission of the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation is to preserve and interpret the home of poet Laura (Riding) Jackson and promote literary programs that nurture passion for the written word. They do this by supporting young writers and advocating for the literary arts through a variety of programs for both teen and adult writers.
