WRITER'S BLOCK BOOKSTORE and BROKEN CAULDRON BREWERY TO HOST ERIC SMITH and LAUREN GIBALDI




Winter Park, FL   On Saturday, October 21 Writer’s Block Bookstore will host Eric Smith and Lauren Gibaldi at 124 E Welbourne Avenue, Winter Park. (http://writersblockbookstore.com) After the Florida Writer’s Conference, meet author and literary agent Eric Smith on tour with his latest anthology, Welcome Home. Local author Lauren Gibaldi will be on hand to read from and sign her story within this collection of young adult, adoption-themed short stories.

About the book:  A unique anthology featuring adoption-themed fictional short stories from a diverse range of celebrated Young Adult authors. The all-star roster includes Mindy McGinnis (Not a Drop to Drink, Katherine Tegen Books, 2013), Adi Alsaid (Let’s Get Lost, Harlequin Teen, 2014), Lauren Gibaldi (The Night We Said Yes, Harper Teen, 2015), and many more. 
Welcome Home collects a number of adoption-themed fictional short stories, and brings them together in one anthology from a diverse range of celebrated Young Adult authors. About the author: Eric Smith is a young adult author and literary agent who grew up in the wilds of New Jersey. When he isn't working on books (his and other peoples), he can be found writing about books for places like Book Riot and Paste Magazine. Lauren Gibaldi is a YA librarian at the Orange County Public Library. She has a bachelor's in literature and master’s in library and information studies. She lives in Orlando, FL, with her husband and daughter. She has written two books for young adults, The Night We Said Yes and Autofocus. Her third book is due out in February.
