Gilleland’s Books on Display at Book Fair

A Meet the Authors Book Fair will be held at the Eau Gallie Civic Center in Melbourne, FL on November 18 & 19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..

Autographed copies of Don Gilleland’s books will be on display and available for purchase at the book fair on November 18th.  All four of his books will be available at the reduced price of $15 each.

America: A Cultural Enigma: about major changes to our society over the last 50 years.

America:  Where Great Things Happen: about exciting things our citizens do that receive very little attention because the news media focuses almost exclusively on negative news.

America: An Exceptional Nation: about God blessing our nation with attributes that set us apart from the rest of the world and give us hope for the 21st Century.

America: A Conflicted Nation: about holding positive and negative feelings for the same subjects, e.g., immigration and the military.  While proud of our immigrant heritage, we are leery of immigrants from the Middleast, and we all agree we need a strong military, but question how much of our national treasure should be devoted to it.

Don served 30 years in the military: eight years enlisted in the U.S. Navy and 22 years commissioned in the U.S. Air Force.  For seven of those 22 years he served in joint assignments with the U.S. Army. He then spent 10 years working in the defense industry, retiring as corporate director of public affairs for the General Dynamics Corporation.  Since retiring in 1994 Don has written these four books, with a fifth that will be published in April 2018.  All are available on the Internet or directly from him.  Check out his web page at www.donaldgilleland.com.  You may also reach him at dgill000@aol.com

The book fair is free and open to the public.  Please stop by and chat with Don.
