Winter Park, FL  On October 1, Writer's Block Bookstore in partnership with Winter Park Public Library will host the inaugural Authors in the Park Book Festival. The event will be OCTOBER 1 from 10AM – 4PM. Admission is FREE and is attended for all ages.
Authors in the Park Book Festival is a day devoted to readers, writers and authors. Meet great authors and hear them speak; share stories and ideas with fellow writers; make new friends of like-minded readers. The festival will host 10 Nationally Bestselling Authors. The keynote speaker will be Geoff Rodkey and feature authors such as Martha Hall Kelly, Boris Fishman, Andrew Nagorski, and many more.

Key Note Speaker: Geoff Rodkey

Rodkey is an Emmy-nominated screenwriter who has written the hits films Daddy Day Care, RV, The Shaggy Dog and the Disney Channel original  TV movie Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas.

His latest book, The Tapper Twins Run For President is told as a colorful “oral history” by the twins and their friends, and include hilarious texts, social media posts and photographs.  The Tapper Twins Run For President is a hilariously authentic showcase of what it’s like to be in middle school.
