Novel in a Day Workshop To Benefit Tallahassee Writers Association

 Hundreds of aspiring writers have attended the Novel in a Day Workshop to learn more of the necessary techniques for successfully completing a novel. Presented by award-winning novelist Vic DiGenti, the full day workshop packs a year’s worth of learning into a daylong interactive session filled with solid instruction, and practical exercises. The Tallahassee Writers Association is hosting DiGenti’s workshop on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at TCC Capitol Center, 300 West Pensacola Street in Tallahassee.

Registration fees are $70 for TWA members and $80 for nonmembers. The fees include a light breakfast, lunch, snacks and a 25-page workbook. Registration information can be found here:

The workshop is for both beginning writers and more advanced writers looking for new insights, providing writers with the tools needed to craft their own novel.

Before writing his Royal Palm Literary Awards Book of the Year mystery, Matanzas Bay (written under the pen name Parker Francis), DiGenti penned three adventure/fantasy novels. His Quint Mitchell Mystery series also includes Bring Down the Furies, Hurricane Island, and the novella, Blue Crabs at Midnight. He also published the short story collection, Ghostly Whispers, Secret Voices.
