PROGRAM: GET INSIDE THE MIND OF A P.I.
Do you want to learn more about the life of a P.I.? In our next meeting Bob White, will talk about his experiences in law enforcement and investigation and his current misadventures as a private investigator.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Bob White was raised in the snobbish NW Chicago suburb of Northbrook. During Prohibition, it was home to the Women’s Temperance Union, then Culligan Water, AC Nielsen and finally, in 1950, the town’s greatest achievement, Bob White.
In 1966 his family moved to Florida where he excelled in high school. Well, more exactly, high school yearbook photography. He earned his degree in police science and criminology in 1970.
Bob started with Fort Lauderdale PD in 1969 until his retirement in 2000. He was a detective specializing in white-collar crime and eventually worked in crime scene investigation. His photography training played a daily role in his work. Starting retirement he worked as a freelance video photographer for local TV and print media.
For the last four years Bob has operated his own private investigative firm, working mostly for a lady lawyer whose bus bench advertising should read, “No case too weird.”
