Lucy Lakestone releases 3rd romance novel inspired by the Space Coast
Author Lucy Lakestone has just released her third steamy romance novel in the Bohemia Beach Series, whose locations are inspired by her home - Florida’s Space Coast.
Each standalone novel is set among a circle of young artists in the enchanting Florida city they call home. Settings include Bohemia and Bohemia Beach; much like Melbourne and its sister beach town, the cities lie across the Indian River Lagoon from each other.
“I wanted to incorporate a lot of my favorite things about the Space Coast into one wonderful fictional location that’s bigger than any one city in Brevard County,” Lakestone said. “Among my inspirations are Rockledge’s river road, the Eau Gallie Arts District, downtown Melbourne, and our beautiful beaches.”
The first two novels were “Bohemia Beach” and “Bohemia Light.” The third book, released this month, is “Bohemia Blues.” The romances contain adult content. Here’s a summary of “Bohemia Blues”:
Esmerelda Falcon is Ez to her friends — and to her fans. The talented singer-songwriter for an up-and-coming band in Bohemia Beach, she keeps her love life simple by dallying with guys she’s only too happy to toss aside. When her latest boy toy goes ballistic in a very public breakup, she turns to steadfast groupie Gary Gorski for escape. Expecting little from the gawky artist who adored her in high school, she’s shocked by their scorching chemistry. But their would-be connection is frustrated by his sense of honor, her agonizing past, drama with the band and, it seems, all the forces of nature. Can Ez find a way to shed her armor and embrace love as fearlessly as she makes music?
