Valerie Allen, psychologist, author, playwright, and speaker, will be at the Meet the Authors Book Fair on November 21 and 22, 2015. She writes fiction, non-fiction, short stories, plays, and children's books.
Valerie will be available to discuss her latest novel, The Prodigal Son. This is the fourth book in this psychological thriller series. In The Prodigal Son, a teenage boy's refusal to attend school leads to criminal charges against his parents and disastrous consequences for him. His parent's recent divorce, his father's hasty re-marriage, his brother's move to college, leave Andrew Tibbet in a desperate whirlwind of emotions. Psychologist, Allyson Freemont, comes to understand the boy's anger and frustration when she learns the disturbing truth about what's been happening behind closed doors.
In addition to The Prodigal Son, other novels by Valerie Allen include: Suffer the Little Children, Sins of the Father, and Amazing Grace. She has also published the popular, 'Tis Herself: Short Story Collection. Her two non-fiction books are, Beyond the Inkblots: Confusion to Harmony, and Write, Publish, Sell, 2nd Edition. Her children's books for independent readers in third to fifth grade are, Summer School for Smarties and Bad Hair, Good Hat, New Friends. Her play, Mother Knows Best, is now in production locally.

Meet the Authors' Book Fair will be held in conjunction with the ArtWorks Festival on November 21 and 22, 2015, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Both events are at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave, Melbourne, FL 32935, and are FREE and open to the public.
