Event: Authors Book Launch. Meet five local authors and hear them
speak about their new books.

When: Saturday, September 12 -- 2 p.m - 4 p.m.
What: Five local authors, plus music from the Dick-Doc Duo before
the program, an hour of author-talk, book signings, plus
refreshments and snacks, including wine a cheese.

Who:
Stephanie Mesler (UU)
- is a playwright and author of seven books currently on the market,
including a novel, a memoir and poetry. She holds advanced degrees in
music and English. She is new to the area, and now lives in Merritt
Island.
Dr. Valerie Allen
- is best known as a practicing psychologist in Melbourne, now an
author of nine books, including "Beyond The Ink Spots." She lives in
Palm Bay."
Holly Fox Vellekoop - published
her recent non-fiction book titled, "Encouragers: Those Who Help Others
Succeed." Formerly a mental health nurse with a MS in Nursing, she is
now retired and an author of seven books.
Patrick Pesce is
a retired lieutenant from the NYPD, now living in Indian Harbor Beach,
His recent memoir is titled, "Blue Memories: Life in Law Enforcement."
Don Gilleland, a
retired Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Air Force, has published his third
book, titled, "America: An Exceptional Nation." He also writers
newspaper Op-Eds. Don lives in Suntree.
