Novel in a Day Workshop To Benefit FHBF

Hundreds of aspiring writers have attended the Novel in a Day Workshop to learn more of the necessary techniques for successfully completing a novel. Presented by award-winning novelist Victor DiGenti, the full day workshop packs a year’s worth of learning into a daylong interactive session filled with solid instruction, and practical exercises. The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Gamache-Koger Theater at Flagler College, and will benefit St. Augustine’s Florida Heritage Book Festival.

Registration fees are $89 per person through April 20, $95 from April 21 to May 1, and $115 at the door. The fee includes a box lunch and a 30-page workbook.

The workshop is for both beginning writers and more advanced writers looking for new insights, providing writers with the tools needed to craft their own novel.

·         Creating characters that sizzle
·         Secrets of good dialogue
·         Eliminating muddled middles and dead ends
·         Deciphering Point of View
·         Tips for self-editing
