Florida author, Terri Clements Dean, PhD, will discuss her new book, Traveling Stories: Lessons from the Journey of Life, at Writer’s Block Bookstore, 124 E. Wellbourne Avenue, Winter Park, on Saturday, December 13 from 2P – 4P with a reading, discussion, and book signing.
In her book, Dr. Dean explores the four questions: Who am I? Where do I belong? What matters? How do I live my life? A collection of teaching stories drawn from Dean’s travels, her psychology practice and her life, the book provides answers to those four questions in a manner that gently guides and is at heart profoundly hopeful. The stories focus on the ways in which life’s lessons make their way to us in the small things, in the unexpected, in the struggles, and in the ordinary and teach us to be wholly ourselves and to participate deeply and fully in life.
A former anthropologist, Dean is a clinical psychologist and has studied philosophy, belief systems, gender knowledge, and psychology with a focus on symbolic systems. Most of all, she is a woman who loves stories!
