Angela Sreter Spencer, MD will be in the Meet the Authors Book Fair

Angela Sreter Spencer, MD Will be signing books at the  Meet the Authors Book Fair on November 22and 23 at the Eau Gallie Civic Center in Melbourne Florida.  She will have two books at the fair:  Two Candles  and Dating Games.
She was born in Transylvania and raised in Hungary but lived most of her adult life in the US. In addition to writing, she works as a practicing neurologist in Melbourne and resides in Palm Bay, FL.
Her love of art and heritage propelled her into writing two books:  Two Candles – poetry and photography in 2010 and Dating Games – the games people play in 2013. The success of the first quickly demanded a second edition in the following year.  I received the distinguished award of the International Who’s Who in Poetry and was published twice in the International Poetry Society’s anthology. Her books are available from the author and at Amazon or Barnes and Noble bookstores.  Her third book has already found a publisher and is planned to be on the bookshelves in 2015.
 Two Candles
To write poetry in English certainly is difficult for a native and even more to someone who learned the language as an adult.  The poems testify not only victory over the fine nuances of a language but the love of life, nature, family, and country.  They validate the author’s eternal optimism and deep belief in trusting people.  The beautifully executed ‘coffee table edition’ book is illustrated by L. Hopp’s award winning, fifty-six, full page, photographic art.

Dating Games- the games people play
Is a collection of short stories in a frame work.  They originated from the many interviews the author conducted both in a private and professional setting.  The conflicts presented in this work might be created by drug addiction, prostitution, infidelity, unrewarded altruism, and a variety of ineffective coping mechanisms.  The book is thought to be not only an enjoyable read but also a very real support and help in commonly recurring circumstances.
She soon branched out to other forms of arts to express herself and started painting first with acrylic and later with oil. She studied art appreciation, drawing and painting with various artists in Europe and locally in Viera and Melbourne.   In my paintings seascapes, the ever changing light reflections on the sky and water, peaceful summer evenings, and fierce forest fires are captured on canvas.  Her paintings are exhibited in Art Galleries in Tallahassee, Viera, Melbourne and Sebastian and found homes in California, Oregon, and by Florida collectors.
Be sure to stop by the Meet the Author's book fair this weekend. to meet Angela Sreter Spencer, MD
