RUSKIN, Florida – Florida novelist Robert Jay has been named among the winners and finalists in this year’s New England Book Festival Book Awards Program.  An annual national book awards program, the New England Book Festival celebrates the best books of the holiday season.

Montooth 3: Red Cross of Gold was released after  the premiere of the Montooth and the Canfield Witch film book trailer (produced by HuB Studios) which can be viewed by visiting:

Montooth 3:  Red Cross of Gold features Carty Andersson and her Crew—Blake Holmes, Hale Wending, and Maximilian “Mack” Stein. When Montooth 3: Red Cross of Gold opens, it’s the mid-1950s—smack dab in the middle of the rock ‘n’ roll era. Television shows are replacing radio programs, and refrigeration retires horse-drawn home milk delivery and kitchen canning. Change may be afoot, but one thing is constant:  Carty and her band of brothers are about to find themselves in the middle of a big adventure.   Suspense, adventure, intrigue, and mystery intersect in this charming new Montooth tale.
Author Robert Jay has been honored by the Florida Writers Association, receiving its prestigious Royal Palm Literary Award for historical fiction.  He has also been recognized by the Young Voices Foundation for his devotion to inspiring and educating his audience, receiving literary awards for both adult and young adult fiction.  Jay holds an economics degree from Kent State University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis.  A twenty-four year international banker, he presided over the 135-branch U.S. Military Banking system in West Germany, Holland, and Greece during the tumultuous years surrounding the fall of the Berlin Wall. Since 1992, Jay has served as the president of a national highway safety company headquartered in Florida. He holds several patents for safety devices used on roads.
