Announcing FWA's Mid-Winter Conference West and Reading Festival





            This two-day event is one you won’t want to miss! For the first time ever, FWA is hosting a two-day Reading Festival open to the public – right in downtown Bradenton! No admission fee for the general public to attend any or all of the Reading Festival. Read on for more details…

When:              January 10-11, 2014

Where:             1st Baptist Church Educational Building
                        1306 Manatee Avenue West
                        Bradenton, FL 34205

What is it:      2 days of workshops for authors, publishers, and others
                        2 days of interviews with agents/publishers
                        2 days of a public reading festival

Opportunities for You

If you’re a publisher:

    ©      You can participate in the two-day public reading festival
v  You may rent a display area – requires two people to man it
v  You may sell your books and those from all of your authors
v  Your authors do not need to be present
v  You do not need to be an FWA member to exhibit/sell
v  You and/your authors may sign up for a reading time to further entice folks to buy
v  All actual sales will be handled by FWA – you collect no money at your display area
    ©      You can participate in the two-day mini-conference
v  You may submit a workshop proposal to FWA
v  You may allow FWA to book interviews for you with our mini-conference attendees
    ©      You may be a sponsor for the FWA's Mid-Winter Conference West and Reading Festival
v  Sponsor name tags for the event – or one day of the event
v  Sponsor part of the food/beverages
v  Sponsor printing of the program
v  Sponsor printing of the handouts
    ©      You can get your name out to all attendees
v  Advertise in the mini-conference program
v  Hand out bookmarks at your display area
v  Have your authors sign up for a time slot to read a selection from their book
