Secrets of the Nonfiction Niche Market Mini-Conference to be held by the Florida Writers Association

Special event for nonfiction writers! The first Nonfiction Mini-Conference will be hosted by the Florida Writers Association (FWA) June 22, 2013, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the University Club in Winter Park.
You may book an interview with Katharine Sands, literary agent for Sarah Jane Freymann Literary, or with Chad Rhoad, acquisition editor for The History Press. You may also arrange for your work to be critiqued by Larry Leech, the journalist and ghost writer.

Let’s not forget the workshops on a range of topics, including the basics of nonfiction writing, the life of a nonfiction writer, ways to make money writing nonfiction, ways to publish, and more. You may also sell your books, tapes, or CDs at the mini-conference bookstore.

Don’t wait until the last minute to take advantage of the many benefits offered. Critiques need to be booked soon so that Larry can receive your submission ahead of time and they can arrange time for him to talk with you during the event. Interview slots with Katharine and Chad are filling fast. Bookstore arrangements also must be made at least ten days in advance.

For additional information and to view a PDF of the detailed program, check the “Conference” tab of the FWA website, www.floridawriters.net. To register online, click the website’s “Shop” tab. Questions? Contact ConferenceMarketing@FloridaWriters.net.
