Raising the Dead Workshop...

Raising the Dead

You’ve been looking at those boxes of genealogical information, the binders of data you’ve so painstakingly assembled over the years of researching your family history. You wonder if your children or grandchildren will treasure all the copies, photographs and documents as much as you do. Unfortunately, they probably won’t. That’s why it’s so important to take the information you have and fashion it into interesting stories they will enjoy reading. Learn how to do just that at:

Raising the Dead a/k/a Bringing Your Ancestors to Life
Saturday, February 16th – 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Lake Fairview near Lee Road and Hwy. 441
Orlando, Florida 32804

Learn how to transform all the names, dates and places into compelling stories. Study excerpts from published family histories, examine a variety of approaches which can be used to tell your family’s story, and practice what you’re learning with valuable writing exercises. Share your experiences over a delicious lunch, included in the price of the workshop.

This workshop will be small and intimate, and you’ll end the day with the knowledge you need to begin writing your family history. Cost of the day-long workshop, including lunch and materials, is $125 in advance, $150 at the door, provided space is available. Click here to read more about this exciting workshop.
