Calling all writers and artists in search of creative inspiration. The Friends of the Enchanted Forest invite you to a presentation by local author and historian Dianne Marcum: Walking in Brevard: Fun Treks for Every Age & Fitness Level. Fall
is the perfect time to step outdoors, free the spirit, and enjoy the
Space Coast at ground level−in the wilderness, alongside the ocean, or
through picturesque neighborhoods. At our October meeting, Dianne will
share her favorite paths for enjoying the flora and fauna, history, and
highlights of Brevard County.
Dianne Marcum is the author of Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach & Florida’s Space Coast, a
Great Destination Explorer’s Guide published by Countryman Press. She
enjoyed a career with Walt Disney World before moving to Brevard County.
Dianne is a member of the Brevard County Historical Commission and
active in writing, environmental, and community organizations.
The
Enchanted Forest Nature Sanctuary is located on the north side of State
Route 405, 1/2 mile west of U.S. Route 1, in south Titusville. Friends
of the Enchanted Forest meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 18. For
