The God of Anna is a memoir written to show that no matter how ugly life gets, the power of life will support you. It's the story about one year in Anna's life when she was about to turn 11. The story is set along a grand Florida river in the 1960's. It sin't a common story of the abused child who waits to be rescued; Anna is a fierce and invincible force by the end o the book.
