Carol Jose Update

Carol Jose has been busy traveling and promoting two award-winning books she co-authored, The Consul: A U.S. diplomat Joins the Italian Resistance and the 2009 Indie Award winning book for History,You Are Not Forgotten, which has been featured on C-Span Book TV, and FOX TV News.

Also, she was a panelist on collaborative writing at the ASJA annual conference in New York City in May and a guest on NBC TV Morning News show 11 Alive in Atlanta, Georgia July 3rd, to present You Are Not forgotten.

She will be sharing a booth with fellow author Echo Garrett of Atlanta at the major Decatur Book Festival in Atlanta GA, which is held over Labor Day Weekend. Last year, according to Atlanta Journal Magazine, attendance was approximately 70,000.

She'll also be a featured after-dinner speaker on You Are Not Forgotten at VFW Post 4228 in Titusville, FL this September 17th, National POW/MIA Recognition Day. Dinner is at 5 p.m. This special evening of remembrance for our POW/MIA and all Veterans of Foreign Wars in Brevard is open to the public that evening, where she'll also be presenting the history of the POW/MIA flag.
