Holly Fox Vellekoop’s unpublished novel, The Beach Boy’s Girl, out of 5,000 entries, has been named a quarterfinalist in Amazon’s Breakthrough Novel Award Contest in the General Fiction, Thriller/Suspense category. The Beach Boy’s Girl is a novel about how a mysterious group gains justice for victims when the court system and typical channels have failed to do so.

Rapists, human-traffickers, drug dealers and murderers are all targeted by this well-funded, organized scripted group who are set on planning the downfall of those who have beat the system and gone unpunished or escaped custody after capture by the authorities. The setting is the Indialantic/Melbourne Beach/Palm Bay, Florida area.
