Listen in - JoAnna O'Keefe

How long has it been since you’ve read a poem—I mean a real poem, not a nursery rhyme or a limerick or a Valentine's Day card? Did you ever write one? JoAnna O’Keefe is a noted Florida poet and author of several published books of poetry. American Broadcast will talk with her this week about her life as a poet, her work and inspirations, and whether this ancient art form can still hang on in the age of reality TV and Twitter. She might even read a few of her best. See more at http://joannaokeefe.com.

American Variety is broadcast on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. Eastern time on WFIT-89.5 FM (Melbourne) and 4:30 p.m. on WMFE-90.7 FM (Orlando), and on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. on WQCS-88.9's digital HD-2 channel (Ft. Pierce), Florida. If you're outside the combined broadcast area and want to listen in, the show is streamed live on the internet.
