Florida Writers Association ST. Petersburg to Offer
“Mystery in a Month,” an Innovative Workshop for Aspiring Mystery Writers

This spring the Florida Writers Association St. Petersburg is offering a hands-on workshop for Bay Area mystery writing enthusiasts. Under the guidance of three successful Florida mystery writers and a team of professional editors, workshop participants will spend three Saturday afternoons learning the intricacies of developing, writing and marketing a mystery short story.

The workshops will be spaced at two-week intervals to give participants time to complete their mystery before the last session, which will be used for a final critique and to provide participants with help in developing a marketing strategy for their story.

WORKSHOP DATES: April 17, May 1, and May 15
LOCATION: The perfect setting...A Corner of England Tea Room, 6297 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, Florida 33710.

FEATURED PRESENTERS:

James Sheehan, author of The Mayor of Lexington Avenue. (April 17)
Diane Gilbert, author of Literati Mystery Series. (May 1)
Diane Sawyer, author of The Cinderella Murders and other Avalon Mysteries. (May 15). A team of professional editors will help participants develop and write a marketable mystery short story.
