News from the Space Coast Writers' Guild

1. The registration form for the January Conference is now available online at You can copy the registration page and mail it back to us. You get a discount if you pay your 2010 dues at the time of registration.

2. There are still openings for volunteers. If you want to volunteer to work for 4 hours (can be divided into 2 shifts) at the conference, you name will be entered in a drawing to win a Netbook computer. (If you win the Netbook and don't want it, I'll bet there are plenty of takers!)

3. Don't forget our fiction writers' workshop, next Saturday Oct 17, 9 am at the West Melbourne Library. The regular monthly meeting is also that day at 1 pm.

4. Finally, congratulations to Stephen Blythe on the publication of his first book, and to Melanie Rotenberg, who has just received a contract for her first book.
